To begin, Thomas is the name. In a few days to come I will be 27. Wooo -throws confetti and does the worm across the floor-. I love laughter, art, music, and literature. I've studied fine arts for four years before embarking on the road to becoming a literature teacher. I'm a romantic in the sense that passion ignites in me once my heart has been touched; to get a rise you've got to touch inside. Lol. And what sets me apart often is compassion. Nearly all living beings are entitled to love. I admit I can be a bit naive at times but in the end I yield to what I know is best. Oh, I love horror movies and Disney movies if that gives a preview into the oddity of me. As far as a relationship for myself, I want a love worth living for, found in a partner I would gladly share years with until our end.

An ideal first date for me would be a simple easygoing date. I admit, I am not one for dressing up and hitting elegant social scenes and restaurants. I want to experience the person in raw form. Therefore, I would first want to know what they like. I myself like going out to the movies and hanging out. I would work to incorporate things we both enjoy. Also, being a romantic, who knows what little card I'd pull. Whatever is done on the first date will be enjoyable and respectful of both our desires.

I've always wanted to try bungee jumping into a lake of sharks while tied together nearly nude and both wearing clown shoes while we scream and sing. Amazing isn't it. Actually I've always wanted to do a great travel; to journey beyond my familiar surroundings and see other countries, states, and cities.

My ultimate goal in life is to reach a point in self-discovery where I can feel that I've conquered binding things of the past. This would mean being set into a stable career as a literature instructor, moving along in confidence, and sharing life with a partner. I would also like to have a few books written with self-done illustrations.

My idea of fun is either two things: One is going to a movie and dinner while the other is hanging out and laughing til it hurts. My friends and I share the same sense of humor so often times it doesn't even matter the location, a good heart can bring fun to almost any situation. Therefore, my idea of fun is spontaneous and packed with laughter. I'm a bit of a jokester and mischievous in my own adorable way. XD

I look for characteristics that show a man is not self-serving. I've witnessed men who can play the role of prince charming as a way to gain favor of the person they are pursuing but then in private they aren't pleasant and are often a source of conflict. I need mental stimulation as well as emotional and physical. Laughter and oddities pull me in from a distance. Laughter says so much about the soul within. As for oddities, I've always found non-typical guys attractive. I like the nerd look and little quirks from big ears to big noses. I admire the things that make an individual unique; even a scar they may not be fond of, I find beauty in it. Then empathy comes, seeing that he can see beyond himself and tend to the pain of another. It's not enough to say "I understand" when there is no understanding. And of course talent. Skills are fascinating and allow a closer look into a potential mate.
