On a first date, I think it's important to get to know someone. Meeting for coffee, a light bite, or even a walk on the pier (or something like that) and having a conversation. I like to see if we get each other's jokes and discover which things each of us likes that the other one hates, because then we can really learn about each other. If all goes well at first, there could be some hand-holding and kissing later on. Ideally, at the end of the first date, a possible second date would be in the works.

Good food, good conversation and good entertainment. These days, dinner with friends is always a great time because I love smart, funny, passionate people. I prefer restaurants to bars. I believe the right Hollywood movie can be as substantial as a good indie or foreign film and the biggest sin a storyteller can commit is being boring. I believe that it's not necessarily better because it's theater and it's not necessarily evil because it's television. I like to explore new places. I enjoy celebrations as much as the occasional calm. I enjoy a good slow dance, a good hug and a good view. And I am open to suggestion.
