My name is Cory. I am 25 and live in Nashville Tennessee. I am originally from South Carolina, but moved here for love. Unfortunately that did not work out, but my life and job are both still here in Nashville, so this is where I will remain for the time being. I am currently working for a corporate financial institution, it isn't the most exciting job but it is good money. Some of you may remember me, as I am not really newbie to the site. I have been on and off of here for several years now. I have made some Great friends on here, and met some amazing people, hopefully I will continue to do so.

I have always prided myself in being a happy person with a positive outlook on life. Here lately that has been taken away from me a bit, but I am working overtime to ensure that I get my happy back. Life is far too short to worry about things that we have no control over. I want to be happy and enjoy my life and that is the most important gift I can give to myself, and anyone else. I am very close to my friends and family, they mean the world to me and have helped shape me into the man I have become today.

A little about me...

Born and raised in South Carolina, it is home and always will be. I love where I am from. Have a huge family and friend base back there, and they mean everything to me. They are the people who helped shape me into the person I am today, and for that I am forever grateful. I graduated from USC, where I double majored in psychology with and emphasis in counseling. Helping others has always been my life goal. I want to give back to this world all of the wonderful things it has given me. I worked as a crisis intervention counselor for a national suicide hotline before I moved here to Nashville. I loved that job and everything it stood for, the potential of saving someone's life was the best gift I ever could have been given.

I am definitely a hopeless romantic. The type of guy that cooks candle lit dinners, gives you notes and cards for no reason, goes out of his way to make occasions special, no matter what they may be. I live for stuff like that, and love to be able to do those things for someone, just make them feel like they are special and the only things that matters in the world.

Pop culture for me, is a way of life. I love it all, from movies and television to art and music. I am always continually trying to expose myself to new worldly things. When we stop learning, we stop growing, and I am always trying to continue to grow as an individual.
